Well I loooovveee The Body Shop and two of favourite products are the body butters and body scrubs which. I have too many to show you so I have just chose a few of my favourites.
Body Scrubs
I always use a body scrub either in the shower or bath because not only does it exfoliate your skin it also leaves skin feeling smooth and soft. The Body Shop scrubs come in a wide variety of textures and density.
Raspberry - When I first opened this, I instantly thought "have they just put jam in here?" Obviously they hadn't but it is more of a runny scrub. It contains real raspberry extract and seeds. The fragrance is one of those that you just can't put down. I even bought the perfume to go with it because I loved it that much.
HoneyMania - The honey one definitely is what you would assume a scrub to be. It's firmer and rougher which gives you the feeling of it being a "scrub" rather than the raspberry one. This one in my opinion is the better one because you actually feel like its working and can see results after the first use. It contains Fair Trade Honey from Ethiopia.
Argan Oil - The Argan Oil Scrub has a similar texture and density to the Raspberry one just not as runny. This one also smells amazing, I can't describe the fragrance but go and smell the testers for yourself and I know you'll instantly fall in love. This one has small beads in for exfoliation. It contains Fair Trade Argan Oil from Morocco.
I also have the Cocoa Butter and Olive scrubs which are both more of a runny scrub. The Shea Butter one is the same as the HoneyMania one. Preferably I would choose the more solid ones because they just feel like they're working more and don't make so much mess!
The Body Shop Scrubs £13.00 each. I always recommend actually going in store to buy your first one just so you can look at the testers smell them and choose the right one for you. Once you know which one you prefer you can just order online.
Body Butters
If you don't like the Body Butters in The Body Shop O..M..G!! How can you not?? Not only do they always smell amazing but they leave you feeling silky smooth and moisturised.
I have far too many probably about 8ish, I know they last ages too so I'm probably stocked up for a few years but I'm sure I'll find a reason to buy a new one! All the body butters state 24 hour hydration which I think is true and probably goes much further. Below are my favourites:
1) Raspberry Body Butter - Like the scrub this is one of my favourite Body Shop scents. As far as I'm away the Raspberry is a limited edition scent so they will only have what stock they have left. (Just checked the website they have the shower gel, lotion and lip gloss left) But I'm sure it is a summer favourite so will probably be coming back. This butter is a stiffer more solid density so you really have to dig it out to apply. The one thing I love about The Body Shop Butters is how long the scent lasts on your skin. I can apply mine in the evening after a bath and smell it the next day when I get up. It also helps if you use the other products in the same scent.
2) HoneyMania - Oh HoneyMania!!! I went through a faze of everything being honey scented, I have the Butter, Scrub, Perfume, Shower Gel, Bath Melt, Lip Balm, Shampoo, Conditioner etc I'm surprised bees didn't say "Hey, that's my honey?" It's just one of those scents that isn't too overpowering. I love it especially because I don't like floral scents like rose. If you like me then this range would be perfect for you. HoneyMania is also a solid, stiff butter which is good because it last a lot longer.
3) Frosted Cranberry/Glazed Apple - These two are from the Christmas range. I don't think that they can only be used at Christmas, they are Chrismassy scented but if you love it then use it all year round, which I do. These tend to sell out pretty fats when it gets to the Christmas season so with any limited edition Body Shop product I would get it as fats as you can!! Both of these are somewhere in between a lotion and butter when it comes to the density as they are more liquidy and less solid. They smell A..MA....ZING!!! Glazed Apple being my favourite one and Frosted Cranberry smells good but I think it smelt much better in the perfume, I loved it so much that after Christmas I hunted on Ebay for one after they were sold out in the shop!
If you want full moisture, smooth skin and skin smelling so great that you want to eat yourself then I 100% recommend these!!
The Body Shop Body Butters £13.00 each.
So there we go, I'm pretty sure that I will be buying more in the future in fact I know I will be buying more!! One thing I love about The Body Shop is that they never test anything on animals and all products are 100% vegetarian. See for yourself here :)
