Balmy for Lip Balm!!

Who doesn't love a lip balm. My rule is to always carry one around with you so I have at least one in my bag, one in my coat pocket and loads of them scattered around everywhere else. For me its essential to have smooth soft lips it just feels right!

Below are my all time faves:

EOS (Evolution of Smooth) is an American company which sells a variety of lip balms, hand creams, shaving cream etc. I think they are more well known for there amazing lip balms! I've been looking for one for ages as they aren't stocked in a lot of shops in the UK. Luckily I was just browsing in Topshop and found them!! There were about 5 to choose from and I chose Summerfruits. They best thing about the EOS lip balm is the shape. It just fits perfectly on your mouth for easy application. It leaves them smooth and soft for hours. The fragrance is just on another level, I can even smell it hours after application. They definitely get a 5/5 from me. The only downside is the price. I paid £7.00 for mine but I'm guessing its because they are imported.

I would say that Balmi is the UK's EOS. It's very similar in shape and style. They have a few different fragrances. A plus point over the EOS is the shape of the balm is pointed which makes it a lot easier to apply. So far I've tried the Raspberry (Pictured above) Strawberry and Blackcurrant. They also have a little string loop on which allows you to attach it to your bag, keys or wherever you think is necessary.

The Soap and Glory Great Kisser was a Christmas present and I'd never had one before. It's peach fragranced with a slight shimmer. It's a classic tin lip balm which reminds me of the Vaseline and Body Shop ones. The only down side to that is after you've applied it you still end up with the remains on your finger!!! It contains oils and butters which moisturise and nourish your lips and it definitely does. It also tastes nice too :)

I think at the moment I own about 20 different lip balms including the above, Vaseline, Body Shop, Palmers Cocoa Butter, Barry M Cor Balmy and Baby Lips. I can't get enough of them, they are a must have especially with this cold windy weather drying them out.

What are your favourite lip balms and what ones do you recommend.
