October Favourites

Another month over which means another monthly favourites posts. I don't have a lot of favourites this month as I have stuck to my classics but here are a few which I'm loving.

Hair Care

As one of my new years resolutions was to grow my hair, I've been using the Lee Stafford Hair Growth range from Boots which I love. I am particulary loving the Leave In treatment Spray. I spray this from the roots to mid length and then come through before bed. I have actually noticed a difference in the length of my hair. I have however been using this with the shampoo and conditioner but not only is it helping promote hair growth but when I wake up my hair is so soft.

I have also been using the Charles Worthington Heat Defence Spray. I struggle to find a heat protection spray that protects against a high degree of heat, some only go up to 190 degree and my GHD's are much hotter. As with the Hair Growth Spray this also makes my hair so soft, smooth and straight after using it and I have noticed a reduction in split ends and damage so I will definitely bee continuing using this.

Skincare

I normally use the Garnier Micellar water or the No7 Micellar water to remove make up and cleanse but I saw there was a third off Soap and Glory products earlier this month and decided to try there make up remover. It removes make up with ease and it's so much easier to remove eyeliner and mascara too. My face feels smooth and cleansed after too.

I received the Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base in a recent Glossybox and it was just one of those items I put to one side and never used but I saw it a few weeks ago and gave it ago. I found it really useful as a primer, my make up lasts longer and it also moisture's so once I've taken my make up off at night my skin already feels soft and clean. It contain anti inflammatorys and anti-oxidants which are good for the skin.

I'm sure I've actually tried the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion before but I can't quite remember. I actually got this one as a free sample in this months Glamour Magazine. It's so rich and moisturising so it's perfect for a night moisturiser. I have noticed my skin can get a bit dry in the winter especially around my nose and I have seen that this has made some improvements.

Make Up

I have Barry M palettes before but the Super Natural one is by far my favourite. It has all the shades a girl needs. It has shimmers, glitters and mattes and there all natural shades which you can build up for a more smokier effect. I'm loving the 4th and 5th ones the most. They have really good lasting power and pigmentation and such good value for money. I never really wore eyeshadow because if I even try to apply darker shades it just looks like I have a black eye, I don't know how people do it. But I love these ones because you can have a subtle look or build it up.

I've only starting using Lottie London products recently but I have to say they are fast becoming one of my go to brands. I have been using there lip balms which are a dupe for an Eos really, but the fragrance (or flavour if you lick your lips like I do) I have been using is Caramel Apple. It's perfect for this time of year not just being an Autumn scent but for the cold drying weather. It's super moisturising and I also apply it before bed to soak in throughout the night.

Body

How could I not include a LUSH product in my favourites. You can read more about this in my LUSH at Halloween post from last week but it just smells incredible, it has Patchouli Oils in which I think is what I like about it. It has a slight shimmer but nothing noticeable. I have noticed that LUSH shower creams last so long even though I use them a lot, obviously that's a good thing. This is a Halloween edition so I'm not sure how long they will be available for.
