For me shopping for make up brushes can be very exciting (sad I know) ha! But my faves are the real techniques brushes. I keep them in what I think is a candle holder but is perfect for brushes!!]
Below is a small description of what I use the brushes:
The Retractable Kabuki Brush is perfect for on the go application. It comes with a plastic pink lid which fits on top of the brush whilst a metallic pink guard protects the brush from being damaged.
The Powder Brush is used for the finishing touches of foundation application. The size of the bristle head is perfect for that light dusting either at the end of application or as a top up throughout the day. I use the Pointed Foundation Brush to apply powder foundation around the
eyes or to apply eyeshadow. It is a bit small to use a foundation brush
but it is good for concentrating on the smaller areas of the face.
The Buffing Brush is used for applying my liquid foundation which I use No7 Stay Perfect in shade Calico. I use it to buff the foundation into my skin to create an even coverage which helps blend to make a more natural look.
I use the Contour Brush to blend in my concealer which I use Collections Lasting Perfection in Shade Fair. After applying the concealer to my chin, nose and under my eyes I use the brush to blend the concealer as it the perfect shape and size to get to those hard to reach places.
Finally the Detailer Brush. I use this for eyeshadow, it is great for getting into the corners of the eye and for blending eye shadow from light to dark.

The amount of products I have tried for my skincare is unbelievable. I wouldn't like to think of how much I've spent. But I think I have finally nailed it and got a set of products which I use daily.
From Left to Right:
Simple - Kind to Eyes Balm - Applied morning and night under my eyes, just gently dabbed on.
The Body Shop - Tea Tree Toner - Applied after cleansing
The Body Shop - Blemish Fade Moisturiser - Applied at night.
The Body Shop - Tea Tree Pore Minimiser - Applied daily around the nose and chin.
Simple - Anti Blemish Moisturiser - Applied before applying make up.
The Body Shop - Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub - Used every two days to exfoliate and cleanse the skin.
Garnier - Pure Active Micellar Water - Used to remove make up, cleanse the skin morning and night.
I have reviewed most of these products on a previous post and will continue to review them if I see any improvements after using them of a period of time. I also use Bio Oil in the morning and in the evening on my skin to help even out skin tone.
Finally........
I have got my hands on the new Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polishes which are due to be released 11th Feb in Superdrug and Boots a few days after. I actually can't wait to try these out especially as they are pastel colours which are perfect for the spring and I find that having coloured nails just makes you feel a whole lot better. Who doesn't love a new Barry M polish?? I will be trying these out in the next few days to see if they are quick dry and to see how the colours look on my nails!!
