Neutrogena Visibly Clear Light Therapy Acne Mask Review

Good Evening.

Hope you have all had a good Monday so far (As good as a Monday can be ha!)

Todays post is going to be a review on the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Light Therapy Acne Mask. I have mentioned in previous posts that I don't have acne just the occasional breakout which then leads to scaring which lasts for months!!! I've tried so many different products for calming down redness including bio oil but I feel like nothing ever works.

I saw an advert for the mask and thought it was too good to be true, but at the time Boots had £20 off so thought I would give it a go.

Honestly it has completely changed my skin and how it looks. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who has mild acne, scaring or hormonal breakouts.

I have to admit at first I did think it was a bit weird putting on what only can be described as a welding mask but after even the first day I used it I noticed a difference.

How it works:

The mask comes with one activator which you plug into the mask. The activator lasts for a total of 30 sessions (30 days) Each session is 10 minutes long. How many days remaining is displayed in the activator itself. Once you have used up all 30 sessions you can repurchase the activator on it's own.

The treatment is chemical free and and UV free so in no way is it harmful or damages your skin. It works by using red and blue LED lights to help penetrate the skin. Blue lights target the bacteria which causes breakouts and red lights helps reduce any inflammation.

All you have to do is hold down the button on the activator for a few seconds and the lights will come on. It's also perfectly safe to have your eyes open whilst doing this so I tend to watch TV or go on Youtube whilst the ten minute treatment is on.

I'm currently half way through my second activator now and the improvement in my skin is incredible. I haven't had any breakouts in when it's that time of the month. I've had the odd small spot but after using this. It instantly disappears and doesn't scar. So now I'm just working on reducing the scars from months ago to get a more clear complexion.

Light Therapy Mask = £59.99
Activator = £14.99

I have seen them on offer quite alot and currently at Boots the mask is £39.99 and the activator is £9.99.

Have you tried the light therapy mask? How did you get on with it?

Will you try it?

Thank you for reading.
