Hi Everyone :)
Hope you're all having a good weekend :)
If you have been reading my blog a while, you will know that I love Barry M as a brand. So when they release a lot of new products in one go, I had to get them. I especially love new nail varnish shades as Barry M just do the best.
As you can see quite a lot of new products came out all as once which I'm not complaining about ;)
I believe the only things I didn't get were the brow gel and the body oil.
Coconut Infusion Gel Nail Varnish
From Left to Right: Popsicle, Scuba, Lemonade, Flip Flop.
All the new colours are perfect summer shades. I find the coconut infusion colours last so much longer on my nails without chipping. The coconut infusion nourishes and enriches nail with the use of coconut water and oil. They do have a more shiny, smooth finish too them as well almost like a gel effect.
Popsicle is my favourite by far as it's such a nice dark pink, perfect for any season. I do tend to wear more of a pink anyway so can't wait to try this. Scuba is a bright blue with a turquoise undertone, it reminds me a classic shade they used to do which I wore all the time. I can't remember the name of it now but if I do, I'll add it in ;) Lemonade is a only what I can describe as sort of a dirty pastel yellow which I've never seen before in a nail varnish. I think this will look really nice in the summer and in the spring. Flip Flop is 100% a summer shade it's a bright orange, which is a perfect holiday shade.
Ready Set Smooth Setting Powder & Gelly Hi Shine Peanut Butter Nail Varnish
I've never used any sort of setting powder before but this says it smooths and sets make up which I can't wait to try. It's a white loose powder with an applicator. I will give this a go a report back to you :)
I'm not sure when this came out as it didn't say new next to it but I've never seen it before and believe me I have nearly every Barry M nail varnish lol! This is a dark caramel nude shade which I am definitely looking forward to trying, it has the flat brush which I find so much easier to apply nail varnish as you can near enough cover your nail in one swoop!
Cosmic Lights Highlighting Palette
I love the Barry M palettes, they are so affordable and are always so pigmented. I have quite a few of the eyeshadow palettes. It comes with 4 creme highlights and 2 powder highlights.
The two on the left are both cremes. The top one is a peachy toned highlight and the one underneath is pastel pink highlight. I even think those two would work well as a subtle blush. The tow in the middle are both powders which I normally would use of a creme. I absolutely love them, they are super pigmented and a little but goes such a long way. There is a dark champagne pinky shade and a light champagne pink shade. The two on the far right are both cremes. I think they may be a bit dark for me but I'll give them a go. The top one is a dark bronze shade and the bottom is a more lighter bronze shade. The packaging is also super cute, it looks so nice on my dressing table.
Thats How I Roll Mascara, Lash Saver Lash Primer & That's Swell Lip Plumper
I've used a Barry M mascara before and I remember really loving it. The packaging feels such a good quality and very sturdy. The wand itself is super bendy which I love as I feel that you can really get to every lash :) This one is designed to brush and lift lashes and is also waterproof. For a high street mascara they are really good and do exactly what they say.
I have used a lash primer before and quite liked it so to see a Barry M one at such a low price I couldn't resist. I've used this for about a week now and my lashes feel so soft and look longer. It's perfect to put on under your mascara to enhance the volume.
I currently use the Barry M lip oils so I had to buy the lip plumper. It says it will enhance the plumpness of your lips naturally. It actually did work a bit, I have to say I'm happy with my lips and how they look so didn't really need this but it did make them look a bit plumper especially my top lip. You get bit of a tingle once you apply for a few seconds then it goes off. It smells very minty and it works by stimulating the skins natural collagen.
