I was going to do this post earlier last week but I wanted to put as much detail into it as possible, so I've been looking through all my photos and writing a bit down from January to December.
I like to read these posts and I want to be able to read this in a few years to just remember my 2015.
In January I restarted my blog again after a few years of the occasional post I wanted to get back into it and post more regularly. I revamped the whole thing and changed how the whole thing looked. It was hard work but I am proud of it. I try and do 2 posts per week varying it up but it is hard trying to fit it in with a full time job.
I also made the hard decision to see a councillor for my anxiety and panic attacks because it got to a point where I didn't feel myself anymore or happy. I felt anxious about every situation and couldn't even go shopping without feeling panicky and breathless or I'd even avoid going out completely because I couldn't handle the thought of having another panic attack in public.I do feel a better now and can deal with feeling anxious a bit better but there is still a long way to go.
Looking at this picture of me on the left from earlier last year I can see that I had lost weight from being anxious and how unhappy I was at the time which just remind me how far I've come. I love the picture on the right, I look so happy that I have cheese on toast lol! I just had to add this one into the post ;)
I started baking again to add another hobby to my list. I really enjoy baking and experimenting with different ingredients. I especially love making cake pops, they are so fun to do and decorate.
I have so many baking accessories, ingredients and gadgets. I think I have perfected my sponge ;)
I decided in March that I want to grow my hair at least so I could have a nice fishtail plait, I'm still working on it and it has gotten so much longer now :)
I had my 21st birthday in April (I actually felt older) ha! I had such a good birthday, seeing my best friend and going out with my besties from work. I think it was the best birthday I'd ever had!
We went on holiday down to Dartmouth which was so lovely, it was sunny and hot most of the week and I felt like I had been abroad getting a sun tan :) I went to Paignton and saw the giraffes, anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love giraffes and was so excited to see them.
In the summer my obsession for LUSH grew a whole lot bigger and I couldn't wait to put them in the bath and watch them fizz away. I have loads of bath bombs, the problem is I can't decide which one to use ha!
I can't believe I had never been to Frankie and Bennys before I had this year. I went with my best friend Jess and had the biggest catch up ever. I remember my lovely honeycomb waffle and ice cream very well. I love my catch ups with Jess, even though we don't see each other as much as we did at school, we just act like we have never been apart. Everyone needs a best friend like Jess :)
In 2015 I think I got more confident in what I wear. I buy what I like and not think about what other people think. I wear patterned leggings, skirts for work and just more me clothes.
I even got more confident with how I look, I've never thought I was pretty even though people tell me now at school it was totally different which knocked my confidence. So I am brave enough to post the below picture of me with no make up on :) I'm happy with how I look, I obviously have my bad days or if I have a breakout it's like the end of the world ha but I can deal with that so much better and not think people are judging me or laughing.
December means one thing and that is CHRISTMAS!!! I am probably one of Christmas's biggest fans. I absolutely love it and everything to do with it like decorations, shopping, music and the general jolliness of everyone :) I had a very good Christmas and appreciate everything that I got from friends and family. The food is always the highlight, stuffing my face with everything I can. I'm still eating the Christmas chocolates now!
Overall even though it didn't start off so well I think it was a really good year. I have learnt to not care so much about what people think and have the confidence to wear what I like. I like taking selfies because it just makes me feel better and seeing how happy I am in them makes me realise how far I have come. I still have a long way to go but I know I can do it and become who I want to be.
I'm excited to see what 2016 will bring and I hope to develop my blog further and have more going on. Thank you to everyone who reads my posts and takes the time to post lovely comments. I really do appreciate it, it really means alot so thank you :)
Thank you for reading and I'll see you in my next post.
