Why I love....... The Body Shop Tea Tree Range

This is the second part of my series "Why I love....." and today I am writing about my favourite skincare range which is the Tea Tree collection at the Body Shop. I have probably been looking for about 8 years for the perfect product to keep my skin looking nice and to sort out any problem areas. I've tried many brands, products and from different price ranges but I think I've finally found the products that agree with my skin.

I have always loved The Body Shop since I can remember but I used to only go on that one side of the shop where all the bath products are and never really took note of there skincare range. The first product I got from the skincare range was the Vitamin E Intensive Face Cream which I loved because it kept my skin hydrated. By loving that it opened my eyes to the other skincare products which I then noticed the Tea Tree range.

There is a whole range of different products from face scrub, face wash, toner, lotion etc. Most of my skincare routine is solely just these products and I wouldn't go back.

I'm just going to go through a few of them to give you a small overview.

From Left to Right - Blemish Gel, Toner, BB Cream, Pore Minimiser and Skin Clearing Lotion.

Blemish Gel - The blemish gel is for if you feel those breakouts under the skin that haven't quite come up yet. I apply this at night on clean skin and let it work it's magic over night. It really does make a difference. You have to do this religiously each night and in the morning if you can to notice the difference, the more you do it the more it works. The applicator is a small doefoot like a lip gloss which makes it so easy to apply.

Skin Clearing Lotion - When I apply this I just feel this working and all the goodness from the bacteria fighting ingredient. It just gives you a more matte finish after using and also helps clear away any traces of make up and impurities.

Flawless BB Cream -  I LOVE this! I now use this instead of a liquid foundation which is great because all I apply to my skin now is the BB Cream, concealer and a bit of powder. I like the idea that it works as a coverage and it working some goodness in as well with the Tea Tree. I use the lightest shade and the tube lasts so long because the smallest amount goes a long way.

Pore Minimiser - I use this mainly on my nose and chin area as those are the main areas for me that I need my pores minimising to reduce any risks of outbreaks or blackheads. You can also use this as a primer for a base for your make up which I haven't done but could totally try it because it does mattify your skin and leaves it feeling fresh and pure.

Skin Clearing Lotion -  I think I'm on my 6th tube of this. It's absolutely fantastic, I use it in the morning and at night before bed. It reduces redness and works towards a clearer complexion. It's very lightweight and also leaves the skin feeling fresh. I don't know what I'd do without it. I used to be one of those people who at night couldn't be bothered to moisturise but now I get excited to apply this because I know it's doing some good and making my skin look clearer.

The positives of using the Tea Tree Range:
  • It's totally affordable, all the products have so much in them for the price and it works.
  • The difference in my skin after even a few days of trying this was so noticeable. redness was reduced and my skin just looked clearer.
  • There is a huge range of different products. For example they have a face scrub, face wash and a creamy cooling wash so you can choose which one is best for you.
  • I feel more confident in my skin which is great.
  • Tea Tree is a natural anti bacteria fighting ingredient .
