I've never had any sort of subscription not even a magazine. The past few months I've been umming and ahhing on whether to sign up to a Glossybox subscription as I've heard so much about them.
So I looked at the past boxes and was quite impressed with what I saw. It just so happened that if I signed up in July I would receive the July box as well as a previous months box for just £15.00 and £10.00 each month after.
The July Box
The July box was a special French edition which contained 4 French beauty products and a very nice make up pouch/bag.
It contained a Yves Rocher L'Eau de Parfum (Comme Une Evidence) , Teoxane Perfect Skin Refiner, Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base, Lollipops Lip Balm and the Make Up Pouch/Bag. I love trying new products but can never get round to choosing them, so I think this is the perfect way to try new things. I've only tried the perfume so far which smells amazing, it just smells like such a good quality perfume and it lasts all day. I will do full reviews on the other products once I have tried them. I have never heard of any of these products before which made me even more excited to try them :)
The "Random" Box
I had a really good random box, I'm not sure what month box this is but it had a really good selection of different products which were 5 x the value of what the box cost (£10.00)
The box included Dove Anti Ageing Shampoo and Conditioner, NCLA Mint Green Nail Varnish, Essence Mascara, Carmex Moisture Plus Tinted Lip Balm and Naobay Moisturising /Peeling. Firstly I tried the Carmex Lip Balm which OMG I love! It is so moisturising and I really can't stop using it. It is tinted but not too much so I think it is perfect for those days you want to have a minimal make up look. It just adds a bit of colour to your lips as well as doing some good especially with this ever changing weather here. The Essence Mascara has a curved wand which is great for shaping and sculpting lashes. I'm not too keen on the packaging, I just don't like the coral design that feels like rubber and sticks out. If the packaging was a little more simple and elegant then I would definitely think about trying and buying it. I haven't tried the other products yet but can't wait to try the Naobay Moisturiser.
I am really impressed with Glossybox and can't wait for my next one. I also like the fact that you can easily cancel your subscription at any time if you sign up to the one month plan.
My next Glossybox will have a full review of all the products. I also love the boxes themselves. I already have plans to utilise them elsewhere :)
Do you have any beauty box subscriptions or do you recommend any others for me to try?
Thank you for reading
xoxo
