August is over and another favourites post. I don't think I have many beauty favourites this month so I have put in a few other bits too :)
Stationary
I am a stationary-aholic!!! I love it all, I know 90% of stuff I have I don't need or may never use but when it looks so pretty I want it! I have far too many pens and I don't exactly write alot so I'm unsure to what the purpose of those is. I love my little baking notepad where I write down recipes and lists to buy ingredients.
Then there's Sharpies. They are so useful, literally so many uses for them including writing, colouring, nail art and lets not forget they just look so pretty in that cute pot.
Hair Bows
For the past year/ year and a half I've never really done anything with my hair, just straightened it and left it down but lately I'm really loving tying it up, half up, bun etc. So I decided to buy some bows just to add that little something which I actually bought back in July but have only started to use them recently.
I think they just look so nice when I have half my hair up and then add the bow on after.
LUSH - The Comforter Shower Cream
The first thing that comes into my mind when I smell this is Ribena. It smells so tasty and is definitely one of those smells that linger in the bathroom and on your skin. I also like the bubblebar version of this not sure if they still make it so let me know if they do? :)
Charles Worthington Colour Enhancer
I didn't need any more shampoo or conditioner as I have loads but saw these new colour enhancer products and thought I would give these ago instead of putting a new colour on. It is formulated with a Henna and Caramel extracts. Even though these type of products aren't a long term solution to colour hair I think it's a great way to enhance the colour you already have to look after your hair without damaging it form harsh colouring. As well as boosting colour and shine, it smells incredible. The bottles are really good too because it stands with the lid at the bottom so no more shaking it to get the very last bit out. These are both £5.99 each.
I also have been loving the Charles Worthington Heat Defence Spray, again it smells really nice but not only has it improved the way my hair looks from heat damage but it also makes it super soft and smooth.
New Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Autumn Shades
Autumn/Winter are my favourite seasons. I love the colours like plum, mustard, browns, greens and teal. Barry M have released 4 new shades for Autumn which include Dragster (Dark Grey) Slip Stream (Bright Purple) Deep Heat (Bright Red) and Sprint Finish (Pomegranate) With all Speedy Quick Dry nail varnishes they have the fan brush and dry quite quick.
So those are my August favourites. What have you been loving this month?
Have you been tried any of the products above?
Thank you for reading
