Yet another beauty haul today. I went into quite a few shops which include The Body Shop, New Look and Boots.
Lets get started....
Bath Products
As you know by now I love The Body Shop and especially it's new Fuji Green Tea and Virgin Mojito range so I bought the Shower Gel/ Body Wash. One thing I love about the Body Shop products is the scent lasts so long on your skin. There is nothing worse than a lovely smelling wash/cream that only lasts while you're applying it. I recommend the Fuji Green Tea range if you like more subtle and not so strong scents. It's reminds me of fresh and clean sheets. The Virgin Mojito Range is summery and zesty. I also bought from Tesco the Treacle Moon Raspberry Kiss Bath and Shower Gel. I love Treacle Moon products I think they're are perfect for those baths where you just want loads of bubbles. They have a huge selection of fragrances as well like Warm Apple Pie, Warm Cinnamon Nights and The Honeycomb Secret. I think this brand is exclusive to Tesco or you can buy from there website.
Ahhh Soap and Glory. I opted for two scrubs and the Sugar Crush Body Mist which is just a repurchase. The two scrubs I chose were firstly Smoothie Star The Breakfast Scrub which to me smells like toffee or caramel. It doesn't say that either of those are in the ingredients but it does smell delicious. This one is a sugar scrub which is less harsh on the skin than a salt scrub. It contains Organic Cupuacu Bio Scrubs, Bananas, Almond and Honey extracts. I can understand why they call it a Breakfast Scrub, I want to eat it yummy!! The second one I got was the Sugar Crush Body Scrub, I knew what this would smell like because I've had products from this range before. This is also a sugar scrub :)
Skincare
I was looking for something I could just have on hand just in case I have any breakouts or blemishes decide to arrive on my face :( I didn't want to buy a load of different full size products so I saw this little set in the body shop. It includes toner, face wash, oil and skin clearing lotion. I thought this was perfect, they're all minis except the oil. For £10.00 I thought that was a bargain because the same size Tea Tree Oil bottle was £7.00 on it's own. I chose the Tea Tree ingredient because I know it fights bacteria and has worked in the past.
The Body Shop Samples
The Body Shop currently have these small bags with tiny samples of new products in for just a £1.00 and all the money goes to help Teenage Cancer Trust which is great! I think for a £1.00 these little pots are perfect for trying new items out. I obviously chose the Mojito pack which contains the sorbet, scrub and shower gel. The lovely women who served me also popped a new Vitamin C Glow Boosting Enhancer Moisturiser sachet in my bag too.
Hair Accessories
I've started wearing my hair up or in a high bun now it's summer and also saves me having to straighten my hair too.... bonus!!! I wanted something to just add and make it look a bit different so I picked up two bows and a cute bobble from new look. I love these bows they have like a crocodile clip on the back which are the best because they don't slide out of my hair then!
Tanya Burrs Book
I've been meaning to buy this book for ages. It's got a but of everything in beauty tips, recipes, life tips etc. I am very much looking forward to reading this and trying some of the recipes. I've already tried the cookies recipe which you can read about here
What have you hauled lately?
